Statement of Liability for Non-Delivery and Delayed Delivery of Virtual Currency

WARNING: LOSSES DUE TO FRAUDULENT OR ACCIDENTAL TRANSACTIONS MAY NOT BE RECOVERABLE, AND TRANSACTIONS IN VIRTUAL CURRENCY ARE IRREVERSIBLE.

Transactions may be delayed because you have failed to provide required information or documents, because of suspected fraud or the suspicion of financial exploitation or exploitation of an elderly person, or due to legal holds over which we have no control. Common causes of delay include: congestion on the blockchain network; fraud checks by our systems; GetCoins internal controls; typographical errors; holidays; the need to comply with bank or regulatory reviews or verifications; and the size of your transaction.

GetCoins is neither responsible nor liable for any delayed transaction, or any transaction where virtual currency is not delivered, when the customer for any reason refuses to provide, or, is unable to provide information or documents that are required by law or regulation in order to (1) identify or verify identity; (2) determine source of funds; and/or (3) determine beneficial ownership or source of funds.

GetCoins is neither responsible nor liable for any transaction which is delayed, or any transaction where virtual currency is not delivered, when GetCoins has a reasonable belief or a reasonable basis to believe that the person engaged in a transaction may be a victim of fraud.

GetCoins screens wallet addresses as required by law but cannot detect every fraudulent address, and is not liable for funds sent to an incorrect, incomplete, or fraudulent digital wallet address or QR code you supply.

GetCoins is also not responsible or liable for delayed delivery resulting from congestion, forks, or technical latencies inherent to third-party public blockchain networks (e.g., the Bitcoin or Ethereum networks) once a valid transaction hash has been broadcast.

If your account (i.e. wallet or profile) is determined by GetCoins to be high risk (requiring additional or enhanced review), your transaction may be placed on hold for as much as 10 days.
